Who Is Christopher Scarver?
Christopher J. Scarver Sr. was born on July 6, 1969, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, U.S. In 1994, at the Columbia Correctional Institution, serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer and murderer Jesse Anderson were fatally attacked by American criminal and convicted murderer Scarver. Scarver then beat Dahmer and Anderson to death with a 20-inch (51-cm) metal rod that he had taken off of a piece of exercise gear in the prison gym. For the murders, Scarver received two additional life terms.

In Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Scarver was born and raised as the second son of five children. He was eventually expelled from his mother's home due to his alcoholism. This happened after he left James Madison High School in the eleventh year. Scarver had previously attended James Madison High School. Scarver was also employed by a Wisconsin Conservation Corps labour program as a trainee carpenter. He claimed that a supervisor named Edward Patts had assured him that he would be hired on a full-time basis after completing this program, but once Patts was fired, Scarver's full-time position never materialized. As a result, Scarver drank a lot. While intoxicated, he started to hear voices referring to him as the "chosen one."

Where Is Christopher Scarver Now?
Christopher Scarver currently resides in the Centennial Correctional Facility in Colorado. In 2004, he brought a civil rights suit against officials at the Wisconsin Secure Program Facility for what he claimed was cruel treatment that violated his constitutional rights following Dahmer's death.

What Happened To Christopher Scarver?
After dropping out of high school, his mother kicked him out. He joined a Youth Conservation Corps program and became a trainee carpenter. Scarver alleges that a program supervisor promised him that they would employ him once he completed the program. However, they never did offer him full-time employment.

In June 1990, Scarver confronted Steve Lohman, a former boss of the program, claiming that they owed him money. When Lohman only gave Scarver $15, Scarver shot Lohman in the head, and he died. Scarver was later arrested and, in 1992, he was convicted to life in prison. Later that year, he murdered Dahmer.
Why Did Christopher Scarver Kill Jeffrey Dahmer?
Christopher Scarver (Furly Mac), who played Dahmer, really did beat the man to death. But it wasn't as planned as the TV drama portrays. Scarver acknowledged that Dahmer was a serial killer and asserted that Dahmer never expressed regret for his actions in an interview with the New York Post. Dahmer repulsed Scarver, but he had no intention of killing him.

Dahmer's fate was nevertheless sealed when Scarver was given the task of cleaning the prison gym with Dahmer and another prisoner named Jesse Anderson, who had murdered his wife. Scarver snapped after being prodded in the back by one of them. In the gym, he questioned Dahmer and Anderson about their misdeeds before killing them with a metal gym bar. Scarver was handed two more life terms for the murder of Dahmer, and he has been behind bars ever since. Currently incarcerated in Canon City, Colorado's Centennial Correctional Facility.

Is Christopher Scarver Alive?
Christopher Scarver, 53, is still incarcerated at the Centennial Correctional Facility in Colorado as of 2022. Scarver will spend the rest of his life in prison after being sentenced to two more life terms without the possibility of release for the murders of Dahmer and Anderson.
