BIOGRAPHY
Wai Ching Ho is a Hong Kong actress known for her many film and television roles. She mainly had a career in her homeland and China, but her performances allowed her to transfer to the United States, where she also managed to obtain a large number of roles since 1990. She first appeared in Cadillac Man (1990 ) . where she had a small role. She also appeared in Robot Stories (2003) and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice (2010). However, the actress became more recognized in 2015 when she played Madame Gao in the first season of the Netflix exclusive series Daredevil . She was established as one of the show’s antagonists and appeared in a few episodes of both seasons. In 2017 she had a much larger role in the series Iron Fist , where she played the main villain of the story, and she continued with the same role in The Defenders . Wai Ching Ho makes an appearance as Destiny’s grandmother, a role played by Constance Wu, in Hustlers of Wall Street (2019)
