Real Housewives of Atlanta star Sanya Richards-Ross and her husband Aaron Ross are celebrating the impending birth of their second son at a baby boy blue themed shower.
“I’m convinced…I’m the luckiest girl in the world 💙✨, “the Olympic athlete began a post commemorating her baby shower on Instagram.
She continued, “@rossboy31 you are the love of a lifetime. You make me better in every way. Yesterday was my shower for my sweet boy but @rossboy31 you showered me with an unconditional love that made me feel like the only person in the room. I’m so grateful for you and my charismatic Mr Deucey-Doo. Life is good 🙌🏾 Thank you God 💙

The BravoTV star, her husband, and six-year-old Aaron Jermaine Ross II, aka “Deuce,” all dressed in blue to coordinate with the baby boy theme.
Richard-Ross’s pregnancy journey has not been an easy one. If you remember, the reality star opened up to People Magazine in an exclusive interview, revealing that she had suffered a miscarriage after announcing, in July, that she and her husband were adding to their family.
“It was very traumatic,” recalled Richards-Ross in her interview. “I was in New York and had a really bad miscarriage. I had to go to the hospital. I had to have a blood transfusion. It was very, very, very scary.”
She continued adding, “You already opened your heart to becoming a mom, so it was awful. Even just talking about it… it really was a difficult time.”
The 38-year-old mother confessed to the popular entertainment news outlet that she had reservations about having another child due to several significant life changes in recent years
“I think a lot of women can relate to this too, but when you become a mom, you can sometimes question, ‘What’s my identity now going to be outside of the home?’ ” Richards-Ross said.
However, having a miscarriage put things into perspective for her, making her realize that she did indeed want to add to her family and “… become a mom again.”
The family-of-three will become four this December and we cannot wait to see the first snaps of the Ross family’s new bundle of joy!
