The actor was born Peter Sudarso on August 20, 1990, in Jakarta, Indonesia. It was there that he was raised with his two brothers by his Indonesian parents of Chinese origin. At the age of 8, his family left Asia for the United States and settled in Los Angeles.
For his studies, he went to California State University, Long Beach and then to Cerritos Community College where he took acting classes.
Although, as he said, he wanted to be a power ranger since childhood, he never wanted to be an actor or even pursue a career in show business. However, after breaking up with a girlfriend, he wanted to reinvent himself and that’s when a friend contacted him if he was interested in modeling for him. He agreed and it led to the start of her career as a model and fashion blogger.
It was almost at the same time that he started modeling that he also started acting, thanks to his brother who had previously started acting in the background. His first audition was for Apple and he ended up getting the role which started his journey in commercials.
Looking at his resume, Peter Sudarso has appeared in movies and TV shows. He had roles in the 2012 short film, Captain Planet 4, followed by the TV series JustKiddingFilms from 2011 to 2014. In 2015, he was in Racist Asians on St. Patrick’s Day like Peter Chang, Spring Break, Reality Check as Spring Breaker, and Pirate’s Code: The Adventures of Mickey Matson as Jin among others.
In 2019, he was Max Dynamite!, The Monkey Prince and the Flower Girl, Fam, and Justice For Vincent. Before that, he took part in Power Rangers from 2017 to 2018 which became one of his most recognized roles.

Yoshi started studying math when he went to college but then switched to acting where his passion was and after that he continued acting.
That said, the two brothers have an older brother who found his passion outside of entertainment.

He prefers drama to action movies: Despite being a power ranger, which is believed to be good with action movies, the Indonesian-born actor revealed that he prefers drama to action movies because he’s not good at it. He revealed that in Power Rangers he only took care of an action scene while everything else was handled by stuntmen.
3. Social Media Presence: In 2012, even before he became a very famous actor, Peter Sudarso started the YouTube channel Apartment210 which has nearly 50,000 subscribers and over 2.3 million views. More so, he also has a good social media presence, especially Instagram, where he has nearly 170,000 followers.
