Cal Fire is reporting that the Bonny Fire burning in Riverside County, California has so far consumed more than 2,000 acres.
The fire is only 5% contained, owing to rugged and steep terrain in the area.
Multiple evacuations have been ordered, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Nearly 1,900 firefighters are battling the blaze.
